Default "Krypto" (2/16/05) Episode Discussion

How much is that doggie in the window...

All, in all, I liked "Krypto," but the story had a very season 1 feel to it.
Instead of the "mutant student" of the week, we had mutant dogs.

Still, there were some good moments. I laughed when they draped the dog in a red blanket after his bath - good touch, just like those old Superman cartoons.

Nice seeing Lionel Luthor make an appearance. John Glover is so cool.

I have one question: Since Krypto was getting doses of kryptonite to give him strength, won't his super powers stop now that he is no longer being injected?

Any thoughts Smallville fans?

Great episode. I cried cause of Shelby and the other dog being experimented on

I loved all the Clark and Lois scenes, their "banter" is great

It was great to see Lionel again, missed having John Glover around.

Yeah Shelby should lose his powers now that the kryptonite injection has worn off.

Yes. They have great chemistry together. I really wasn't too crazy about them bringing in Lois lane, but now I think it was a good idea, because she keeps things light.
The whole Clark/Lana relationship has deteriorated to the point where they can't be in the same room with one another, and Clarks relationship with Chloe isn't nearly as pleasant as it used to be; and now that Chloe knows about Clark's powers, things are going to be even weirder between them.
A certain amount of playfullness and humor is needed in the show to keep things from getting too tense.

That was another great episode. I love Shelby He's so cute. I'm glad Clark's keeping him. I wonder what happened to that other dog?

Yea I got angry when they tried to kill those dogs. I loved the Clark-Lois banter too. Thats what I like about the show. Their's always a little comedy thrown in. It looks like next week its going to be mostly about Lana and I'm not to interested in her story. I also like how Clark and Lex interacted. It sort of forshadows the future. Lionel should definately be on more.

I thought this episode was going to be stupid from the previews but it turned out good. I thought it was just going to be about Clark buying a dog but it turned out to have a plot.

I always liked the season one type of episodes because you don't have to see all the episodes to get what's going on and there less complicated.

I just assumed that the doses had permanent effects but I'm not sure.

It was good to see Lois and Clark together. I guess I'm getting over the Lana and Clark Idea. She could just never handle all the secrecy in Clark's life.
