Kimberly only on Facts once - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I was wondering why they only had Kimberly cross over to Facts once in the first episode where as Willis and Arnold crossed over in seasons 2 and 3. Also, it seemed Kimberly and Jo didn't know each other as Kimberly's only appaerance was before she joined the cast and she never crossed over to Different Strokes while Natalie, Tootie, and Blair did.

The only thing I can guess is that they didn't want to add anymore girls to the FOL set then there already were in that first season. As for after that... no idea.

Yeah it did seem odd that Kimberly was supposed to know the Eastland Girls and never returned to guest star on FOL. I still think it was odd that Willis made a guest apperance in 81 alone-LOL

Have you seen the "Diff'rent Strokes" episode where many of the first season girls come over to Kimberly's apartment (condo?) in New York? I think it was a "Diff'rent Strokes" second season episode.

Have you seen the "Diff'rent Strokes" episode where Natalie (and Blair briefly)are hanging out at Kimberly's apartment? It's the episode where Kimberly uses the make-up that Blair is 'pushing!'

I always wondered if Kimberly can be seen in the begining of "The Facts of Life" 'Sex Symbol" episode...

Eastland was Eastlake in the FOL pilot (Diff'rent Strokes' episode). I haven't seen the first season of "Diff'rent Strokes" in quite some time, and I can't remember if the first season goes into any detail as to where Kimberly goes to school and how far away it is from New York (Manhatten, I assume)

Hey, anyone know if Kimberly ever graduated from Eastland or changed schools or what??!!

How could Kimberly get from Manhatten to Eastland EVERY DAY!
Did she live on campus during the week (weren't there some Diff'rent Strokes episodes that dealt with her being at school, or something?).
