Another "Cleaning Up Beaver" Question

In "Cleaning Up Beaver" I'm wondering if a scene wasn't cut.

At one moment we see Beaver and Larry having lunch at school. Larry tells Beaver he should have his own bedroom. The scene fades.

Next we see June and Beaver in a bedroom. We learn Beaver will be given the room - which is the guest room - as his own bedroom.

Shouldn't there have been another scene between these two? One in which we see Beaver (at dinner perhaps) asking for and being granted his own bedroom? If not, I think the moment the guest room scene appeared June should have said something like: "Well, Beaver you wanted your own bedroom and I hope you'll be happy here in the guest room!"

I was confused when the guest room scene appeared. At first I thought Beaver was in his mother's room. It was several moments before I realized Beaver was getting his own room. What do you think? Was I the only one confused? Was there a scene cut? Should there have been a scene between these two scenes?
