Remember the phony ads at the beginning of each episode of You Can't Do That on Television? Saturday Night Live did that first in the 70's.
Did SNL ever consider suing You Can't That On Television for stealing their bid? Though Nickelodeon only aired YCTOT, and did not produce the show, SNL let them slide, it would be nice if Nickelodeon would pay them back, and let Kenan Thompson do his old All That characters on SNL. But that is a story for another day. Does anyone know what Lorne Michaels (who did not produce SNL at the time YCTOT went on the air) NBC, and anyone else associated with SNL reactions was when they saw a phony bumper ad at the beginning of You Can't Do That On Television? |
