I didn't like The Comedian and the Loan Sharks. Since you're making me pick only ONE that I liked, I have to go with The Big Move, Part 2, but I have other favorites.

Since watching the season 4 dvd, I don't hate the Judy Cohen Story like I used to.

The one I didn't like is the Judy Cohen story and the one I enjoyed was Rich is better than poor...maybe. Seeing Shirley Hemphill playing dumb in a scene with the Evans is a treat, plus it is a good episode.

Default Well

I liked most of the episodes, so it is hard to pick ones that I hate. Well, except the one about the lame-o comedian.

I haven't watched them all yet.

One I did not enjoy (as much as I thought I would) was the Thanksgiving episode with James' father visiting with his girlfriend.

One I liked was "A Friend in Need".

I also liked the Carl Dixon character. I wonder if Esther Rolle had stayed on the show, if Carl would have returned for the fifth season and married her on-screen.

I just thought it had a great mix of comedy and drama. I liked the last scene where J.J. was trying to keep his friend awake. Plus I always like it whenever a character mentions a past character. J.J. said that he would love to have five minutes with his father.

So far, I've been enjoying season 4.

Damn what a question? I was very impressed with the 4th season of Good Times. It was the first time in a very long time..that I actually sat through and watched the entire DVD in a very short period of time but since I cannot make up my mind which of the episodes were a favorite of mine, I must confessed that I was not very fond of the Judy Cohen Story (sorry Solomon)
