Default This show belongs on HBO not ABC

Especially with the role playing discussion between Marcia Cross character and her husband and how he likes to be sexually dominated. This show is more suitable for Cable.

sorry but

Didn't they present it to HBO and they passed on it? Or am I thinking of another show?

It has no nudity or swearing. Not HBO material. Why don't you just watch the show instead of making mindless comments?

This show is just too well written. Lots of laughs, suspense, you don't know what to expect! But still it IS suitable for ABC, I don't see any nudity or swearing. And I don't like to watch that, so I was not into Sex and the City.

Yep they sure did, I bet they're kicking themselves now

I agree with Pav. Solomon this show in no way belongs on HBO. Besides I don't get HBO, so that won't work

I don't either.

If it were on HBO, it wouldn't be getting over 20 million viewers weekly either.

I bet a lot of Sex And The City's fans are watching this show. HBO must be really regretting their decision.

Yep I bet they are. I never did like SATC. DH is a better show IMO

I can't believe like 5 networks turned this show down, HBO, Lifetime, NBC, CBS, FOX. I think that's the ones.

very true. DH is the only show on television that even remotely compensates me for the loss of Sex And The City and Buffy, lol

I'm glad it DIDN'T make HBO for two reasons.
1. shorter seasons - HBO shows are usually between 12-18 episodes, generally the former (only S&TC went to 18)
2. higher-priced DVD sets - apparently Buena Vista will be charging $40 for DH and Lost DVD's... knowing HBO, an hour long show would merit $99.99 for less episodes

However, in a way, if it was on HBO, less of the "moral righteous" types who complain would complain about it.

Don't worrry. I'm sure we'll see quite a few DH inspired shows on the other networks schedules this Fall.
Send in the clones...

I can see this show isn't Ozzie and Harriet. But we are moving toward much more topics being talked about. I am glad I see this show by myself. I wouldn't see it with my dad or mom present.

This show would work wonderfully on HBO. Not that it doesn't work on ABC, I just think airing it on cable would only improve it.

WAIT.
I take that back, I don't have HBO. Bad idea.

People always compare this to S&TC, maybe I should give that another chance.
