216 - A Reunion Of Sorts
With Steve back from space, and news of a wedding spreading fast, the Winslow family reunites as both Aunt Rachel and Mother Winslow return. The family's plan to persuade Laura into postponing the wedding for as long as possible seems to succeed, much to the dismay of Steve. Meanwhile, after his encounter as a meter maid, Eddie puts his police career on hold as he accepts a job as a mall security guard.

217 - Goals (Part 1)
Richie & 3J join a community roller hockey team and are shocked to discover that their new coach might just be 3J's birth father. Meanwhile, Carl and Hariette find it difficult to get romantic with Mother Winslow and Rachel back in the house. Steve & Laura go to visit Eddie on the job, but are held back when they are shocked to find Waldo & Myra, together.... on a date.

218 - Goals (Part 2)
Steve & Laura's shock of finding Waldo & Myra together escalates as they see their two friends kiss. Laura wants to make themselves seen, but Steve thinks they should act as if they don't notice them there, however, his being a klutz manages to not only ruin the meal of Waldo & Myra, but about 15 tables around them as well. 3J and Richie find themselves with opposing views as well, as 3J thinks he should talk with their coach about their theory, while Richie thinks he should do some research and see if he's the right man or not. Mother Winslow and Rachel decide to leave Carl and Hariette be as they venture out for "ladies night", but Hariette finds herself jealous and is in no mood for romance with Carl. 3J and Richie get home just after Laura and Steve, who allows them to use his computer to research their new coach. Eddie spends the night in his old house as his apartment is being sprayed for bugs, and when he returns from a late night at work he finds Carl and Hariette waiting up, with Mother Winslow and Rachel nowhere in sight.

219 - Goals (Part 3)
Suck at a biker bar with an empty tank of gas, Rachel seems to be terrified while Mother Winslow seems to be having the time of her life. Carl and Hariette are thrilled to discover that they are alright when Rachel finally gets a call across, since the phone line had been tied up all night thanks to Steve's computer. Carl and Eddie set out to "save" Rachel & Mother Winslow, while Hariette stays at home where she uses Steve's computer and acidentally discovers that 3J has found his birth father. Meanwhile, Steve & Laura stay up all night as well as they sit in the kitchen wondering about Myra & Waldo. Hariette goes to talk to 3J about the information he has found, but soon discovers that he is not in his bed.

220 - Goals (Part 4)
Hariette awakenings Richie immediately as the two run downstairs to get Steve & Laura and begin a search party for 3J. After enlisting the help of a few neighbors and friends, the family sets out to rescue their newest member. Eddie, Carl, Mother Winslow, and Rachel pass by the local school yard on their way home and find 3J shotting on his coach (and father) in goal. They run up to see what's going on, just as the search party arrives. 3J introduces the crowd to his father, but stalls as he introduces his father to Carl, his dad. 3J and the Winslows agree to keep in touch with 3J's birthfather, who honestly never knew his ex-girlfriend had ever even gotten pregnant. The entire family is together again, as the extended family makes an announcement.... Waldo & Myra are officially dating.

221 - Gold Digger
While rumaging through the basement, Carl finds a solid gold shovel, and suspects it may be worth some money. Steve offers to bring it to be appraised, but on the way it begins to rain and the shovel of gold turns to rust. Carl complains to the rest of the family about Steve yet again, but with no proof Steve blames Carl for ragging on him for no reason at all. Laura is torn between her father and her fiance, but when more garden products are found in the basement covered in gold dust, Laura doesn't know who she can trust anymore. Meanwhile, Waldo & Myra's first public date has everyone anxious to see what will come of it, besides Laura's friend Maxine, who tells Eddie that she still has feelings for Waldo.
