Something has been bothering me for awhile now while watching "Mama's Family" and I was hoping maybe someone here can explain what Helen Gurley Brown is going on here!

Over the doorway from the backyard to the kitchen hangs a milkcrate. It's there, every episode, just lurking in the doorway. Now perhaps in Raytown the milkman still comes and delivers the milk, and Mama likes to have her crate there for easy access. But it just bothers me, I just don't get it. Any idea's?

Well, like most homes there isn't enough room to put everything. We have a couple of milk crates which just get in the way but rather than hanging them up in the house we hang them in the garage!

Maybe Mama wants an easy access to it. Those crates really do come in handy!

Yeah, they're good for holding records.

I guess Mama doesn't use her stereo much.
