I don't know how or where to get a copy, but the last 3 lines were:

I have a videotape of "Vintage Cigarette Commercials," and at some time-- I think the opening is still in black&white-- they change those lines to something about Winston Cigarettes, followed by the classic Winston jingle, "Winston tastes good like a- [2 picks of the banjo]- cigarette should." What they are pointing at in that opening turns out to be a long truck with the Winston logo, and they all give a big hillbilly wave as they pass that truck in their truck.

yea, I remember the scene in the opening where they passed the Winston ciggarettes truck, back when CBS was showing reruns of the show in the daytime.
I think they used to alternate it with a scene where they would pass a Kellogs billboard and look over at it. (that's what Jed's pointing to in the opening, just after the credits end) |

Yeah, these are all included within the Ultimate Collections in their respective spots after the theme and on Disc 4 in the Special Features section.

I remember a commercial they did for Kellogs Cornflakes, where the grocery boy delivered the groceries and Granny had him sit down to a bowl of Kelloggs cornflakes, they'd make him big and strong, and he asked if Jed ate them. "Ev'ry mornin'!" Jethro? "Ev'ry mornin'!" You? (meaning Granny)..."Well, I ain't so big..." I haven't thought of that in almost forty years...

when's the last time a "grocery boy" delivered groceries? That goes back to when cab drivers wore uniforms, and buildings had elevator operators (also in uniforms!)

... [for Winston] co-sponsored the first five seasons of the show (1962-'67). I don't know how long Kellogg's remained as alternate sponsor, but I believe Campbell Soup Co. was co-sponsor during the last few seasons {which ones, I'm not sure of}.

well, I know Kelloggs remained as a sponsor of it in the later years, because I remember seeing Kelloggs cast commercials during the show in the later years, so they probably sponsored it for the entire run.
