"All Greek To Me"

This sitcom is about a man and a woman who come from different heritages and depsite their families' opinions, they get married. John Stamos plays Jesse Stephanopolis, of Greek heritage. Eva Longeria plays Gabrielle Solis-Stephanopolis, of Hispanic heritage. Jesse and Gabrielle are married a year now. Jesse works as a sports editor at a sports magazine agency. Gabrielle as a hairdresser. Jesse and Gabrielle lives in their New York apartment. Their neighbors are the rich and yuppie socialites: Bobby and Ava McMason (Dylan McDermott, Daisy Fuentes). The Stephanopolises and McMasons are best friends. Gabrielle's and Jesse's families don't speak to each other and disapprove of the marriage. To make matters more intense, Gabrielle and Jesse learns she is pregnant with their first child, which also sets the families into more of a dislike for the other. Jesse puts up with his uptight, demanding boss, Glenn Woods (George Wendt). Gabrielle's older sister, Esperanza (Constance Marie) appears occasionally, Esperanza is the only one of her family who has contact with Gabrielle and Jesse by choice.
