ROXBURY, Conn. - Arthur Miller, the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright whose most famous fictional creation, Willy Loman in “Death of a Salesman,” came to symbolize the American Dream gone awry, has died. He was 89.

I just heard about that. I remember having to read Death of a Salesman in HS.

Besides being known as a great playwright, I'm sure you all know that he was the former Mr. Marilyn Monroe.

Yep, I knew that. My Junior year in high school I did a research paper on Marilyn Monroe. RIP Arthur. I really enjoyed "The Crucible."

To be honest, I thought he already was dead.

Ironic though, there was a snipet in our paper about him because someone is performing the Crucible.

One of the great writers of the 20th century.

I had the pleasure of seeing one of his final plays "The Ride Down Mt. Morgan" with Patrick Stewart a few years ago.

I love Miller's Death of A Salesman. It's such a sad tale of aging and broken dreams.

About 3 or 4 years ago, I saw the play, with Brian Dennehy playing Willy Loman. We had front row seats. The rooms were like a carousel, and would turn as needed. It was amazing.
