Default Lohan to Star Opposite Meryl Streep

Lindsay Lohan Set for Country Music Movie
By James Wray Feb 9, 2005, 00:30 GMT

ET Online reports Lindsay Lohan is set to star as in a movie about a small-town country music station.

The young star has been cast in "A Prairie Home Companion," and will play opposite Meryl Streep as her daughter.

Robert Altman is directing and filming is set to begin in April.

Also starring are Lyle Lovett and Tom Waits who will play singers; and Garrison Keillor who also wrote the screenplay.

This is a big jump career wise, congrats to her.

Starring opposite Lindsay...that's like an automatic Oscar nod for Meryl.

LOL, yeah, just for pity. J/K... I love Lindsay and I'm happy that she is heading towards the right direction. If she was like the other Disney "stars"-- she would have been where Hilary and Raven are at now, instead of having a string of hit movies and anticipated upcoming projects.

I'm a big fan of Lindsay but frankly I think that girl will run herself into the ground with all the work she's doing. She has like 4 movies being made/post production and her music career. I don't get where she gets the time.

BTW SBTB Geek, what do you mean she'd be where Hilary and Raven are now? Where is that ?

Yeah, I'm no fan of Lindsay by any means, but by the way things are looking right now, she will have far more success than both of them.
