![]() I miss my mom so much and I'm finding it so hard to go on day by day knowing that she's not around anymore. I miss talking to her; seeing her and just having her around. I still can't believe that she's gone for good. I love her very much and wish that she was still here but not sick like she was; just being here healthy and in our lives for a very long time.

I can relate. I lost my mother when I was 8 years old. I still miss her, but I know now she is in a better place and is at peace. May God be with you and your family at this time.

i know the feeling. my mom died from cancer when i was 13. i'd be looking around the house and thinking, she's never coming back, it's only the three of us from now on. i actually got readjusted to life in about a week but i know if she was still here i wouldn't be as miserable as i am and life would be much different. however, i'm kind of relieved to have her death over with. i don't think i've had to go through so much worrying and stress in my life. whenever my dad called the hospital to check on her, i'd be so scared she'd died. and when i found out she did i actually wasn't surprised, but i was still in shock and couldn't believe it.

So sorry to hear your pain. I understand what you're going through - lost my mother in '96 and we had been very very close. She was really ill for a long time, but I still miss our heart to hearts. Doesn't matter how old you are when you lose them I think. And I still wish I could pick up the phone at least. Honestly - I still talk to her sometimes though (of course when no one's around!!!) and I feel her with me.
Rest assured though that she's finally at peace and out of pain and suffering.

My mom died about 4 years ago. She was in her early 80's lived a good life but I miss her too. I now am working on her family's genealogy. I wished we had talked more about her background so I would have knowledge. She knew more about aunt and uncle so and so. The time you get interested in something, the person you want to talk to is gone.
