Post Queen Elizabeth I

I am thinking that Peter Jackson should do a movie about Queen Elizabeth I-
it should be called Elizabeth. Sissy Spacek should play the title role with Amy
Irving as Mary Queen Of Scots. As far as supporting roles, John Rhys-Davies
would be good as William Thessle, Antonio Banderas should play the King of
Spain, Bernard Hill should play Elizabeth's military commander, Dennis Franz
should play the captain of the spanish armada and Anneliese Van Der Pol and Jessica Alba should play Elizabeths daughters. The film shouldbe a co-production between Universal/Columbia/Peter Jacksons company and be a 200 minute film.

1) There was already a very succesful film about Elizabeth I called "Elizabeth" with Cate Blanchett.

2) Peter Jackson is a New Zealander, what makes you think he should be directing a historical British film?

3) Americans Spacek and Irving as British queens? That won't fly in England.

4) Elizabeth the first had daugthers? I missed that one.

I was about to post that as well. With a great Elizabeth movie in existence, there is no need for another.

What in the world for? We can discuss the Elizabeth movie that came out a few years ago, or open possibilities about films on other historical figures. We could find ideas about movies based on the Elizabethan era. It was a very important time in the history of the world.
