February 7, 2005 America knows her best as one of ABC's "Desperate Housewives," but now it looks like EVA LONGORIA may be on the way to big-screen stardom as well. The stunning actress is close to signing a deal to join the star-studded cast of an upcoming thriller about the Secret Service, according to Variety. Longoria would play an agent in 'The Sentinel' alongside some of Hollywood's biggest names like MICHAEL DOUGLAS, KIEFER SUTHERLAND and KIM BASINGER. The movie is expected to begin filming in May.
