Default Do any of you shred.............

Paper that you don't want others to read, especially when it's curbside for garbage pickup day? Here's what I mean: Bills, medical and financial statements and records, personal correspondence and photos, etc. I have a desktop and floor crosscut (confetti) shredders, and I use either one for the size of what I'm getting rid of.

No, I just tear them up into little pieces. I should get a shredder but I'm just too lazy to go out and buy one.

I have a shredder that I use all the time. I'm kinda paranoid about that whole identity theft thing, so I shred my credit card statements and mail. I also get at least two credit card applications a day, so those go in the shredder too.

If you don'thave one, get one.

Same here. If it weren't for those stupid things, I wouldn't have the overflow of bags of shredded paper.

Though I keep all my credit card statements.

I tear, but I really hate those credit card applications. What I do with those is stick a piece of junk paper in the return envelope and mail it back to the company. At least then they get charged the postage again. Now I notice some of them have warning labels that say dont put dangerous stuff in here or you may be prosecuted.

All those damn offers is probably why my interest rate is almost 18%. That and all those damn transfer checks. They could save millions on postage alone.
