Do you ever refuse to see a movie just because there's someone you don't like in it? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

OK, this is like opposite of that other thread, but I'm wondering if anyone does this. I definitely don't because one actor doesn't make the whole movie, but my friend is like this! When we're talking about movies and I asked her if she's seen a certain one, she says she won't see it because she doesn't like so and so.

We were at the video store once and we're trying to pick out a good movie. Well, I said Freaky Friday is a good movie, but she says "I don't like Lindsay Lohan", which I KNEW, but I don't think that's a good enough excuse to not see a movie!

Yeah,i wont watch any Russel Crowe movies.I cant stand him.

yes i cant stand bette midler or clair danes and i will not watch or go see any movies with ether of them.

It all depends on what kind of movie it is. Like I don't really care for Jim Carrey but I went to see The Truman Show because the previews looked good and I ended up really liking the movie.

I refused to watch "Boogeyman" because the entire "7th Heaven" cast annoys me. It doesn't look like I'm missing much though-- I heard both "Blade Trinity" and "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" sucked.

Now that I remember, I did see "The Rules of Attraction"- and Jessica Biel was in that as well, and that is possibly one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

I'll avoid pretty much all movies with Ben Affluck and Madonna in the starring role.

Yes, there are definitely a few actors/actresses who will keep me from seeing a certain movie.

I usually avoid movies starring:

Renee Zellweger
Kevin Spacey
Russell Crowe
Liam Neeson
Emma Thompson
Can't stand any those people. There's others but those came to mind right off

I see there's some upcoming boxing movie that stars both Crowe & Zellweger - I'll definately be sure to skip that one

I cant stand Adam Sandler and wont watch anything with this idiot in it......

Also Johnny Depp (He is OK in his first movie (Nightmare on elm street (1984)) but I dont like him after that)
