"Guide to TV" for NewsRadio. - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I bought a new TV book. It's called "Guide to TV" and it's from TV Guide. It's the first edition and lists all shows, not just primetime, like the other TV books I own. This gives just a brief paragraph for each show. Anyways, here's what the book said for "NewsRadio". (Remember, this is from the book. I'm not the author of this paragraph.)

A sharp cast buoyed this underrated comedy about the staff at an all-news radio station in New York City. A midseason offering, it was moved 11 times during it's four year run, which sometimes made it difficult for viewers to find the show, and is likely why it always seemed to be on the brink of cancellation. In May 1998, actor Phil Hartman was murdered, and was replaced in the cast by Jon Lovitz, another alum of 'Saturday Night Live.'

On an unrelated note, I noticed at TV Land, they have a section where you can vote for shows to come to their channel. One of the shows in the running is NewsRadio! They said the list of shows are their most requested shows. They say they can't promise any of the shows will come, but it's still cool to see NewsRadio listed in a TV Land poll.

While I do love NewsRadio and would be delighted to see it back on, I think it's way too recent for TV Land. Maybe some other network should air it for awhile first.
