Announcement marks the first new Lucky Charms(R) cereal in 40 years

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 26, 2005-- Lucky the Leprechaun's got a new gig. After 40 years of sharing his signature Lucky Charms cereal, he'll have to begin multi-tasking. Like regular Lucky Charms, Chocolate Lucky Charms contains Lucky's eight magical charms: hearts, shooting stars, horseshoes, clovers, blue moons, pots of gold, rainbows and balloons. It also features the great taste and nutritional benefits of regular Lucky Charms and is a good source of calcium and whole grain and 11 other essential vitamins and minerals.

"Lucky Charms has been a family favorite at the breakfast table for 40 years. With the introduction of Chocolate Lucky Charms, we are excited to offer a new breakfast experience with the same colorful fun of Lucky's magical marshmallows in a delicious new chocolatey cereal," said Jon Horn, Associate Marketing Manager for Chocolate Lucky Charms.

Chocolate Lucky Charms will be available in stores across the U.S. For more information on Chocolate Lucky Charms, Lucky Charms and Lucky the Leprechaun, visit www.luckycharmsfun.com.

I'm sure it has too much sugar for me to try. I miss Count Chocula this doesn't look much different than that though.

Hmmm, I'll have to try it.

I stick with healthy cereals mostly. Honey Bunches of Oats, Special Kay, Shreaded Wheat, etc.

Just wait until they don't stop bouncing off the walls for 37 hours. You'll long for the days of unfinished bowls.
