Thumbs up Smallville "Pariah" Episode 2/2/05 Discussion

Man, what a great episode.
Without a doubt the best plot twist on "Smallvile" in recent memory.

I really wish they hadn't gotten rid of Alicia; or as my roomate and I call her - the crazy teleporting girl. When they brought her back last week, you thought it was going to be a rehash of the "fatal attraction" plotline from her first appearance, but the episode was very touching. They allowed Alicia to show her sad vulnerable side, which made it hard for Clark to walk away.
- A brief aside here, Clark and Alicia running off to Vegas to get married was brilliant! Loved the wedding night scene!

It was a great idea to pair Clark with someone with special powers, even if it was only for two episodes..

One more thing - why the Hell did Lana get so bent out of shape becasue Clark was dating Alicia?
Granted, she did try to kill Lana the last time, but how many guys has Lana been involved with that tried to kill Clark? Hell, Jason tried to kill Clark! Get off your high horse Lana! Let Clark date crazy teleporting girl if he wants to!

I just watched it. It was a great episode. I can't believe Chloe knows about Clark's powers now. I wonder how long it will be before she tells him she knows.

I guess it was inevitable that she found out, although it was a great idea that Clark doesn't know. I bet Chloe now understands why Lionel Luthor is so interested in Clark Kent.

Hopefully they'll keep this plotline going for a while.

It was a great episode!I didn't know Alicia knew about the red krytonite?I was really suprised!I think it's great that Chloé knows now but,I'm sure she going to keep it a secret from Clark for a while. That will be a good suspence.

Great episode, but what happened to Tim at the end, did he go to jail, psych ward what? The writers blundered that one

I like that Chloe found out, and don't think Alicia had to die, but she was just a plot device to set up Chloe finding out.

Lana was upset because Clark is dating someone who tried to kill her, as much as I despise Lana, I'm with her on that one, something like that takes time to get over, and supposedly Alicia was cured, and Alicia said she'd never tell Clark's secret, and it took her all of what? 10 minutes for her to let Chloe find out?

Yeah, i was a bit confused about that. When did she find out about that?

You would figure since Chloe, Clark and Pete had such a bad reaction to it, they would put it some place where no one would get to it.
In other words, not the nearest desk drawer!

Yeah, I Loved the episode too.

I Hope they don't rush Chloe telling Clark she knows. Everytime someone finds out his secret they always go right over and confront him, I Think its a neat idea to have her knowing about it for awhile while hes totally clueless.

Allright, I'll admit that Alicia was probably not 100% cured.

But seriously, Lana has been involved with a few guys who turned out to be psychos, but did Clark hold a grudge?

I agree. This could set up some great possibilities.

Chloe might start "experimenting" with Clark, kind of like Margot Kidder did with Christopher Reeve in "Superman 2," putting herself in danger at Niagra Falls in the hopes that Clark would reveal his powers...

Yeah, I'm sure he's locked away somewhere with all of the other Smallville mutants.

I'm really glad they brought Sheriff Adams back into the mix; she was missing for way too many episodes. She knows that Clark is much more than just some local kid who's always just happens to be around when things happen.

They really need to make her more of a nemesis to Clark.

I love Sheriff Adams, she rocks

Anyone notice the scene where Clark finds Alicia and then starts to scream, someone told me that was right out of Superman 2 when Superman finds Lois dead

Yes, I sensed the similarity to the movie.

In fact, after that scene, my roommate says to me "I hope he's not going to try to turn the earth backwards. He's way too young to try something like that."
