Default Boogie Down Productions Criminal Minded Album

Classic album. My favorite joints are Poetry, South Bronx, 9mm Goes Bang, Elementary, Dope Beat, The P Is Free, The Bridge Is Over(classic diss to Juice Crew), Superhoe, Criminal Minded(classic jam). I remember KRS One said he would've never became a popular rapper if it wasn't for him responding to MC Shan. KRS thought that MC Shan was saying rap music started in Queensbridge, NY cause of his song The Bridge. Shan said he wasn't saying that rap started in Queensbridge. He was just reppin his neighborhood. Beef II dvd talks about the beef between KRS & Shan. KRS would've been a rapper anyway even if he didn't respond to MC Shan's song. It was just destined for him to be a rapper. KRS is a very intelligent guy & he's one of my favorite mc's. It's unfortunate his DJ Scott La Rock got killed after Criminal Minded album came out. KRS met him at a homeless shelter. The rest is history. I was listening to Criminal Minded album today & BDP's By All Means Necessary & Edutainment albums. Another BDP album i like is Sex & Violence. I can't believe KRS used to be married to Ms. Melodie who was also in BDP. She was fat LOL.

KRS One was supposed to come out with a album called Maximum Strength 6 years ago on Jive records but he scrapped the album i heard cause i guess he didn't like the songs that were on the album. That album was supposed to been his last album on Jive cause he owed them one more album on his contract but instead the label put out a greatest hits album by him to fulfill his contract obligation. I think if Maximum Strength would've came out, it probably would've been tight cause KRS doesn't make bad albums that much. Only albums of his i don't like are Keep Right & Spiritual Minded.
