I've been trying to match an audio sample to a video sample of Furley in episode 144 "going to pot"....where furley is confused as being a dealer because he's accidentally recorded by jack saying "jack, I'm gonna have that pot for you tomorrow" etc etc....Well, the audio sample I have is very clear and has been encorporated into the soundtrack of a video blip I'm making but until now I didn't have video to match it. I figured all I'd have to do was find a tape of the episode and just run it over the sound I'd made. So...I found a vhs of nick at night that has the episode, but it's definitely different! not only is furley's phrasing slightly different, but I remember seeing the episode at least a couple times back in the day and the characters are situated in the scene differently and everything. What gives??!? Wouldn't be too big of a deal to switch it up with this tape's version except that I like the phrasing on the audio file of the episode better...plus I've already done over half the work making it fit with this file, now his lips won't match what the sound plays. Any ideas? I'm not trippin I swear, just a bit confoosed.

You know, I noticed the same thing. I thought it was just me, but now that you posted, I know that it wasn't. Perhaps this audio was from a scene that Nick @ Nite cut out?

holy ****e I'm an eediot...I drilled my brain trying to figure this out. Then I watched the whole episode...the quote I have the audio from isn't the first time he says the lines, they're repeated when the detective listens to the tape jack gave him, but obviously during the taping knotts and ritter were micing them live through the studio from offscreen because they don't say the same words verbatim. Damn I was so confused...I know occassionally they remake portions of tv shows when they're deemed unsuitable, but this was strange because nothing changed but a few words. DDDDUUUUHHHHH smack me please.
