55 years ago today, What's My Line? debuts on CBS. The simple little panel show would enjoy an amazing 17-year run Sunday evenings at 10:30pm (ET/PT) until the final show on September 3, 1967, before it would become a daily syndicated show in color and on videotape from 1968-1975.

The show could still be seen on GSN during the black & white hour in the middle of the night. I saw a few episodes with Johnny Carson as a panel last weekend. Happy anniversary!
