Default discussion: Starting Over

I hate it when they leave you hanging like that! JJ and the cops, Meg and Sam, I cannot wait 'till March!

And for all those worried about cancellation: What are you doing to improve ratings?! All of us who love this show need to be involved doing whatever we can!

I've borrowed my season 1 DVDs to my parents and 4 different people I work with. The result: 6 people who whenever I see them first thing monday morning say to me: Oh my God, did you watch American Dreams last night? I love this show!"

I've always thought that the sign of a show/movie that I love is when I find myself wishing/dreaming about being a part of the characters lives, and American Dreams has done the best job of that hands down.

LOL

I think that after talking to Helen he'll try and expose the bribe that the council took, putting aside whatever punishment may come his way.

No way man! I think Pete will take it out on those cops.

Why didn't JJ defend himself? I mean come on! He's a Marine!

In my opinion, this was one of the best episodes of the season, besides of course, JJ coming home & the wedding. I loved it, and I'm very excited about the prospect of Meg & Sam getting together-- I think they could get a lot of good storylines from that, between their families reactions and others. I've been calling a Meg & Sam relationship since the first time he was on the show! Can't wait til March

I have no fear what so ever about Ad being cancelled I still keep up my positve attitude for AD because it shows I still have my high spirits about Ad.

Man, that ending was a roller coaster... JJ being beat up interspersed with Sam and Meg dancing... American Dreams always seems to get the old emotions dancing...

Perhaps JJ didn't fight back because they were law enforcement officers. I dunno....

When Luke saw "Father John" (I *think* that was the name they used) emptying the garbage at the prom I thought I was going to fall out of my chair. I was ROLLING. The look on his face was priceless. Can you say c-u-t-e???

Dang he is a good sport.

I love American Dreams.

Default P.S.

Oh, and Helen and Patty off to see The Singing Nun.... Sometimes moms just really know what to do...

And did we really think that Beth would find out so soon? I am glad to see that her and JJ kinda worked it out. Naw, I am real glad that they worked it out.

Oh yeah, and I love Jack Pryor senior.

By the way, does anyone else think that Luke looks pretty handsome with the long hair but no beard?

I'm new to this board but I love AD and have been watching it regularly since the pillot. I'm not 100% for sure on this info. but I read that the next episode is called California dreamin. Which leaves me to think that Meg iisn't quite over Chris yet, which she pretty much confirmed when she was yelling at JJ, so I don't think at this time the Meg/Sam situation is going to go very far, but I could be wrong, Any thoughts?

I really wish that they would stop have Meg continuing to ask about Chris. Get over it. He left. I always thought that there was "someting" (chemistry ?) to the Meg and Sam relationship. I've been waiting for Sam to dump that rich spoliled brat of a girlfriend (that happened last week so I was thinking there might be something in this weeks episode)
