Default What was the first Super Bowl you watched?

The First SB I watched was in 1987 between the Giants and Denver.

The first one I saw was Super Bowl XXIX in 1995. QB Steve Young (who threw six touchdown passes) and his 49ers pummelled the Chargers 49-26. Not a happy sight if you were a Chargers fan watching that game but a great one if you were a 49er fan. Times sure have changed since then for San Francisco.

Here's the box score.

In all my 18 years of watching the NFL, that SB was the only one didn't watch because I wanted Dallas to beat the niners and it didn;t happen. I won't be watching this year's SB either because I hate the Eagles the Same way I hated the niners in 1995.

The first SB I watched was SB X between Pittsburgh and Dallas. I didn't watch the following year but I did watch SB Xll between Dallas and Denver and I haven't missed a superbowl since.

The first Super Bowl I remember watching was Super Bowl XV in 1981 between the Eagles and Raiders.

It was in 1996. Patriots vs Packers. We lost, but it was a Superbowl party, so it was fun. I remember I won a pool for $50.

Before that, I would go to Superbowl gatherings, but never actually watched the game. I only have an interest if the Pats are playing.

Do you think it's hard to have a SB PArty when it's yor team that's in the SB? I would think Eagles and Pats fans would want to concentrate on the game rather than eating and drinking

Here in Boston, we're pretty smart. We've mastered eating and drinking while watching sports.

I can only eat if the Eagles are down by 25 points in the 3rd quarter

Either way, I think they'll be riots in the city, win or lose.
