Default This is the Fresh Prince is funnier than the Cosby Show Thread, FP Fans where are YOU

I'm so glad N@N took the cosby show out of that 12-1am slot because FP is clearly the better show. FP keeps u laughing from start to finish. If anyone replies to this thread and thinks TCS is funnier, please give a detail answer why. Here is my reason for FP being better

Uncle Phil is much funnier than Cliff Huxtable

Vivian is not stuck up like Clair

Carlton is slghtly funnier than theo

And most importantly The Grandparents on FP were only seen ONCE a season and not every other episode. And when they were seen they were not STIFFS like Grandmom and Grandpa Huxtable.

Totally Agree. Cosby Show is ok, But it gets old fast. Fresh Prince is a show I Could watch for a long time and not get tired of it. Its alot funnier too.

Fresh Prince also doesnt have stupid lipsynching musical episodes or Dreams about Muppets and Men having Babys.

They're both classics in their own way.

I enjoy watching both of them...

But they're two completely different shows so I don't see why you should compare them.

TCS is funnier than FP IMO. I get into the humor more in TCS more than I do in FP. But I like them both.

TCS is definately the better series.
But I would rather watch any episode of FP over the last 3 seasons of TCS.

Sorry, but the Cosby Show was a classic! Fresh Prince was good, but it couldn't top Cosby.

TCS would be fun to watch if the grandparents were not on the show all the time

Fresh Prince is wayyyy funnier than the Cosby Show. They are too stift on Cosby. Bill is family funny, he's not belly aching funny to the point where he will make tears come out of your eyes. At least Will and Uncle Phil had good interactions.

Theo and Cliff Huxtable had some good interactions but it still wasn;t enough to be funnier than The Fresh Prince

I didn't like Cliff's and Theo's interactions, they were corny.
