Willie: I LOVE stores! Anna: I could use a new pair of shoes Matt: I guess I’ll go! Mike: Alright! We’re going to the store! I’ve always loved that place. I really like that green lettuce that my dad gives to people behind the register, but it doesn’t taste like regular lettuce… (Everyone gets in the car- well, the mini van) Mrs. Anderson: Be careful! Mr. Anderson: Relax, the roads aren’t bad yet. Mike: Look out the window! Matt: I am, I don’t see anything interesting Mike: Why are you looking out the window? (Everyone arrives at the store) Willie: CVS! My favorite store! Just smell the scent of it (Willie inhales and exhales) Willie: So, wonderful (A heavy person walks by Mike) Mike: Look! It’s a hippo! (The man looks mad) Anna: Mike, That’s so rude! Mike: I’m just telling the truth. Look! Anna: What is that, wrinkly old thing? It looks like an old elephant. Mike: That’s my grandma! Mr. Anderson: See, that was no probl…. (The car slips on ice and slides off the road, and is stuck in the snow) Mr. Anderson: We have a problem (Commercial Break) (Hours have passed and the car is buried under snow. Mr. Anderson has called Mrs. Anderson, and she is trying to get someone to pull the car out of the snow. Mike slept through all of this and is just waking up) Mike: Hey, did my mom paint my room? Willie: We’re all gonna die! Mike: No we’re not. My hair doesn’t look THAT bad when I wake up, does it? Anna: Mike, we’re stuck under a pile of snow! Matt: Dad, can’t you go out to see what’s wrong? Mr. Anderson: We’re snowed in, in a car. Of course I can’t do that! (We see the Anderson home) Chris: I’m so upset Mrs. Anderson: You’re worried for your dad and your brother, aren’t you? Chris: No. Trisha called and said she can’t make it, after 4 hours! Jake: I called the fire department. I told them where the van is and they are going to try to pull him out. Mrs. Anderson: The fire department?!?! They’re not stuck in THAT bad! Jake: Oh well! (We see the van again) Fire Department Man: Do not move! We will save you Matt: WHERE ARE WE GOING? Mike: Well, I am kind of in the mood for McDonald’s Fireman: This is a job for someone with a hook, or something. Where are they anyway? Willie (closing his eyes): Make the car fly, make the car fly, make the car fly (There is a huge crowd at huge traffic outside of the buried car. Some people try and go to brush off snow, but no one knows where the car is…) Mr. Anderson: The car’s RUNNING! Matt: Leave it on! We need heat! Mike: No! Put on the Air Conditioning! Anna: Put on music! (Mr. Anderson turns the radio on. The news about the car is on every station, except for a kids station. Woman on Radio: Hey, kids! Next up we have “We Love You” (A cheesy song with kids saying “I Love You” to their families comes on. Mike sings along.) Mike: I’m so hungry. (Mike takes a sandwich out from his pocket) Anna: You idiot! Why didn’t you tell us about this before? Mike: It’s just to put my feet on (Mike takes the sandwich out and rests his feet on it) Matt: You are an idiot! Mike: What’s this button do? Mr. Anderson: No, Mike, don’t do that! (Mike presses the button and opens the sunroof. Snow comes piling in) Mr. Anderson: The weather report Voice on Radio: 19 inches are piled on the ground right now. It will take about a week for this snow to melt! Willie: AAAAH! A WEEK? NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! Outside the van, the police department, the fire department, and a lot of townspeople are there) Newswoman: Hi, I’m Linda Hossfield, reporting from the 6:00 News. A car is stuck in the snow, somewhere. Young man, what do you have to say about this? Chris: I have to say, Linda, you’re hot Linda: Thank you, but way do you have to say about the situation? Chris: Some people I don’t know are stuck in a car. But you’re hot Linda: ok… (We see the van again) (It’s nighttime) Willie: Hey, wake up everyone! (Willie takes some snow from the pile that Mike made) Willie: Wake up… (Mr. Anderson takes the snow and smashes it in everyone’s faces) Anna: What happened? Willie: You fell asleep (Matt and Mr. Anderson wake up) Matt: Where did Mike go? Dad, we lost mike! Mr. Anderson: I’m not sure where he went. He just, disappeared. Willie: Maybe he FLEW out the window! (Everyone hears a banging noise) Anna: What’s that noise? (It’s Mike banging on the roof of the car) Mike: GUYS! Climb up the snow! You’ll get out! Anna: What? Mike: Do it! (They all climb out) Anna: You are…a genius! I can’t believe I just said that… Mr. Anderson: Everyone do it! Even though we don’t have boots or anything on? (Everyone escapes. Mrs. Anderson hugs the kids) Anna: Mike, you saved us Matt: That’s just creepy Mike: Let’s go get a soda. This hasn’t been an exciting day. Anna: Is he an idiot or a hero? Matt: I don’t know… Anna: Maybe he isn’t as dumb as we thought Willie: Or maybe he flew… Anna: It’s all a mystery Matt: Just waiting to be solved…. *The episode ends with Anna and Matt looking confused* |
