I'm on this DVD-buying kick. I saw a pre-viewed copy of Walking Tall at Safeway last night which I might buy.

The Forgotten
Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow The Village Without a Paddle I've watched all of them except The Forgotten, which I'm going to start watching right now. I also went to see In Good Company in theaters. I'm on a movie-watching craze right now. |

I only rent movies which I'm unsure of...
This week I rented: "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow"- It wasn't great, but it wasn't as bad as people made it seem to be. Lots of points on originality. "Lost In Translation"- LOVED IT. I'm going to buy it. "Mean Creek"- I was actually planning to buy it, but I'm glad I rented it first. It wasn't as good as the buzz said. At few times it was extremely cheesy. "Thirteen"- I can't believe I've waited so long to watch this film. It was a great film, and the performances by Evan Rachel Wood and Holly Hunter were outstanding. |

I watched the Foregotten and wish I could forget the whole thing. The ending was lame, I wanted more info on whatever was sucking peple up in the air. The best part was the car crashing into them as they were driving. I was surprised, I jumped and spilled a drink.

I just watched that last night too and I agree that it wasn't every good. Although I expected a lame ending, it was sort of interesting. I think instead of trying to pretend that the NSA was involved they should've made it more of a Scfi movie with like better special effects than that one guy. I loved that car crash though. That was the best part of the movie. |

Yes you are right about making it more sci-fi, would have made more sense.
