...If you keep your ID consistent from board to board it's easier to keep track of each other. Don't get all in a huff if someone doesn't trade with you because you don't have anything of interest to them.

If I said yes to every trader who wanted something on my list, and I asked for trades in return that I didn't really want.... well, what's the sense of that? I'd never get away from this computer and I'd just accumulate stuff and never take it off the shelf to watch.
