Default Which sitcoms do you think got better & worse as they went on?

I notice that alot of people prefer earlier episodes of certain tv shows to later episodes,so i thought i'd ask if anyone had a tv show that they thought improved with time? and what tv shows do you think began better than they finished?

For me,I'd say
Began better than they finished: Bewitched,The Nanny,Saved by the Bell,Family Ties,Full House,Family Matters,Everybody Loves Raymond,The Wonder Years

Got better with age: Seinfeld,Married with Children

hmmm thats weird...I enjoy the first 5 seasons of Seinfeld more than the last 4 seasons.

Better:

-Three's Company (Didn't start getting really good until Season 3)
-All in the Family
-The Fresh Prince of Bel Air
-The King of Queens (This show hasn't changed much since the beginning, Its been hilarious since day one, but It hasn't gotten better or worse. so I dunno where I'm suppose to classify it under)
-Two and a Half men (It hasn't been on for too long, but it just keeps getting better and better )

Worse:

-Friends
-The Simpsons (They should have ended this a long time ago)
-Scrubs (Not that it sucks or anything, Its my favorite show...But Season 1 and 2 are waaayy better than Seasons 3 and 4)
-8 Simple Rules (Not the producers fault, The show just became boring without John Ritter around)
-Seinfeld
-Will & Grace (The last 2 seaons have been total Sh**)

They're in Random Order. Just as I think of them.

Wings, for me, hit it's peak in season 3. Then in that last half of season 7 and all of 8 (minus the finale) it went downhill.

Happy Days, for me, also hit it's peak in season 3. Although I personally liked the later, post-Richie episodes, the majority of fans didn't like it much. So for the general public, it's known as a show that got worse over the years. But I don't think so.

Boy Meets World, for me, originally was great all the way through. Now in reruns, the first season wasn't that great. I'm a fan of seasons 5-7. So for this show it got better with age.

Married with Children, although I like Steve more than Jefferson, this show got funnier in the later seasons. And it's real tough to go from the last season, in syndication, back to the first season.

The Odd Couple went from a (in my opinion) lousy first season to a fantastic second season. And it remained classic until the end of it's five-year run.

Ellen Same as The Odd Couple. It's first season (in my opinion) sucked. Then when it came back for season 2, it was hilarious. It got even better. Although the fifth season wasn't as great as season 3, I like to watch it more than season 1.

NewsRadio, great from the beginning. It only went downhill due to the tragic death of co-star Phil Hartman. I still watched the last season. But it wasn't as funny.

Chico and the Man, another classic show that got worse due to an untimely death. In this case, Freddie Prinze. It lasted one season without him. It was sad seeing "The Man" without "Chico", especially since they killed off the Chico character as well.

I forgot about the Cosby Show. When the kids were younger,it was great, but as the series went on,and the kids grew up and started moving off to college, etc,it got boring, and i stopped watching.

I agree, they really should think about calling it quits.
