I mean, it was fine the way it was before. The show ol shows like FOL and TC, every night. Tjis fall, the network will really be terrible. First of all, I hate the Cheers episodes with Kristie Alley, and whenever they're shown on reruns, they always seem to show her episodes the most. Second of all, Family Ties gets extremly boring after a short-time, and all of the subjects and plots are the same. I wish that N@N would just stay put and not add these shows. My idea is to not watch Family Ties at all during the marathon, so they get bad ratings, and then they may not show them anymore. I don't mind Cheers that much, but Family Ties is way down at the bottom of my list.

I haven't paid a lot of attention to nick at nite for a while, great shows, but often in laerger blocks than my attention span.
Im really bummed about tv lands new shedule, because almost everything they are showing plays on several other channel for me -- really common shows like Hogans heros, I Love Lucy - stuff like that. TV Land / Nick seem to own the rights to about every show ever made, then they stick them all in a vault somewhere so no one can enjoy them. I guess some of these shows aren't run locally for a lot of people, so they will be glad to see them, but I am bummed out.

Before I get attacked by Cheers fans, I have nothing against the show it's just where I live they show 2 episodes of Cheers in a row.
I like Family Ties but it is shown on TBS. I am going to be like Andrew & skip Cheers so it does not get good ratings. |

i don't see why nick at nite bothered to get the cosby show, or for that matter why they're making a big deal about it.
it gets shown on tbs everyday and i always watch it in the afternoon. i think it was even shown on WGN for a while. i wish they'd show more alf or something. they should get some shows that haven't been on for a long time. |

I think Nick @ Nite had too many good shows on their station before they changed their schedule! There are lots of 80s shows I've never seen, or have just seen for a couple months. Family Ties used to air on Vision TV in Canada, but it stopped airing last Spring of 2001. I've only seen the reunion epsiode of Happy Days and none of Silver Spoons. I wish that stations like TBS or TNN got shows like Family Ties, Silver Spoons and Happy Days. Unfortunately, it seems like the stupid sattelite stations get all the great shows. It makes me so mad! Why can't some of these shows air on regular cable? Stupid Nick @ Nite and TV Land gets all the great shows!
