What did you guys think of the finale? I didn't like how time just flew by but besides that it was pretty good. I liked how Lilly ended up going to school near Brad.

i am truly going to miss this show.. grounded for life was a terrific show, Rather than being derivative it was fresh and funny. Sure, at first glance it seemed to cover the same terrain of so many recent family comedies. But that's only at the first glance. Beneath the surface, the writing was original and full of offbeat touches and nice throwaways--some of which go by quickly given the show's fast pace. I think the season finale was filled with as much great comedy as every other episode & i bid it a sad farewell.. so what were your alls thoughts about the show & season finale ?

I'm surprised that it's only been off the airwaves a year and already in syndication--its really luck. About the series finale, I really DID NOT like it just because everything was so rushed in the episode. It would have been a lot better if it were a 2-part episode, because I mean they spped up the pregnancy 4 or 5 months all in a couple seconds, Lily graduates, her prank is ruined, the baby is born, eddie breaks up with whatever the hell her name is. I mean, They were cancelled so they had to speed up the pregnancy, but they really shouldn't have had Lily graduate because they really didn't focus much around it. The only funny thing was the baby's name being Rose from Titanic, but then they changed it to Gracie. I thought that was funny.

Don't get me wrong, becaus I own the first season on DVD and this is one of my favorite shows, but this was an excellent show and I think it deserved a much better finale.
