Yeah, he was and still is!
For example, "Mork and Mindy": While the scripts were G-rated, his improvisations were also clean. The occasional "PG" lines, such as "To have one of those I'd have to be eight feet tall!" were written into the scripts. During the second season, ABC execs decided to change it, with some of the ideas being....well, both Robin and pam Dawber were not at all happy with this. In addition, his concerts, films and Tv talk show appearances, etc. had plenty of clean moments. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "One day. I don't understand the point of your post.
Robin Williams, back in the days of Mork and Mindy, was a cokehead. Yes, he was doing coccaine. I doubt that he was he all about purity at that point, unless it was the blow. |
