I remember this one ep. where Tony thought Jeannie was pregnant (it was actually a dog) and he was all excited and stuff. Since he didn't seem surprised and was looking forward to being a Dad...I'm guessing they were having realtions then...were they?? Did he ever get to become a Dad?!

I don't think they had sex.I guess Tony thought that genies were not like regular people. He probably assumed that she can become pregnant with passionated kisses or something like that?In the I Dream of Jeannie's movie(15 years later) Tony and Jeannie were parents:a son Tony jr.

Jeannnie and Tony were sleeping together in the episode where Tony thinks she is pregnant because they were married. Yes, it is true that it turned out a dog was expectiing puppies.

Well, she's still a virgin in my SG1/IDoJ crossover. She's going to have a little talk, the day before the wedding, with Roger and Samantha Carter (the new girl in his life). I may have R & S going at it, but Tony & Jeannie are still pure and sweet. Awwww...
(Speaking of Tony, go to my link below about this crossover. In "Endeavor to SGC", when they locate Jeannie, one of her abductors makes the mistake of punching Jeannie in the face... and Tony goes berserk on the guy. As Roger says in his diary about that, "I am so glad he's my best friend.") |

Just because they were married doesn't mean they were sleeping together. Remember Rob and Laura Petrie were married and they had twin beds and they had a son.

The episode in question was Season 5's "Mrs. Djinn-Djinn." By then, Tony and Jeannie had been married a number of episodes. Roger was the one that saw the doggy vitamins on the bedside table, which were labeled "Vitamins for Pregnancy", and he assumed they were Jeannie's and that she was pregnant. He spilled the beans...incorrectly....to Tony while he was at work. Of course it's the magical dog that's pregnant, but no one realizes that before throwing a baby shower for the "parents to be".
Yes, in the 1985 movie, Tony and Jeannie have an 11 or 12 year old son, Tony Jr "T.J." In 1991 he's about to graduate from high school and has a speech to give, so Jeannie is trying to find out where Tony is (in space) so she can blink him back to hear it. In the meantime, she's got to get a temporary master. Donna (And do read SQ1Niner/Helen's fan-fiction stories - they're GOOD) |

CAJeannie/Donna and I email quite often, about Bill Daily and his characters of Roger and Howard, so she's keeping me on my toes. I'm currently into writing Greatest American Hero fic, but Roger's not forgotten. I'm sure my IDOJ Muse will hit again. |

Were'nt they married in that episode? It's fine if they were married.

That was conjecture at best...what they did before they were married. Sidney Sheldon vows and declares that she slept in her bottle, Tony in his double bed. That's what was acceptable in the 1960s in TV. By the time IDOJ hit the airwaves in 1965, couples had JUST been allowed to be seen in the same bed. (Remember, in the late 50s and early 60s, Lucy and Desi, and Rob and Laura, were both married couples sleeping in twin beds. It was unacceptable to see even marrieds in the same bed.) It was pushing the limits just to have Jeannie trot into Tony's bedroom before they were married - and he ALWAYS grabbed a robe (or tried to).
