On the show Darlene always complained that DJ was driving her crazy. Did Sarah ever get uopst and harrassed by Michael in real life?

I don't think so, I heard they got along pretty well. I could be wrong, but for some reaons I feel like I saw that somewhere.

I don't think they could have been that good together if they actually hated each other. I know it worked for William Frawley and Vivian Vance on I Love Lucy but they were seasoned actors.

However, isn't the story that Gilbert didn't get along with the other kid that played DJ?

Yeah it was Sal Barone but he was only in the pilot.

I'm so glad they got Michael to play DJ, I thought he was awesome! He was so cute when he was real little too. I think he is the only one that could have played the DJ character successfully.

Not to mention that Michael actually looked alot like Roseanne pre-surgery. I think the whole family was one of the most believably looks wise on tv.

Darlene was too ugly and annoying to be cuter than him. Even when she was a kid.
