Wink Help Stop The Madness...

We all knew it would happen eventually...

I saw an article about this the other day. Too funny.

I feel a little sorry for the girl. At least she has the guts to do with her life what she really wants to, even though everyone else is telling her to do something different. Though she should not blame everyone else for her singing problems.

That's kind of mean. Is she really that bad of a singer?

The jury is still out, but her "live" voice and her "album" voice are very different.

It is kind of mean, (and i like some of her music) but she's absolutely horrendous as a singer and her "career" obviously took zero effort. i feel kind of bad for her for the way everyone overreacted about the SNL thing but she really doesn't have what it takes to be a singer IMO. there's so much she needs to work on.

Sad

I haven't heard much of Ashlee Simpson, but I'm willing to give Ashlee Simpson a chance. I really believe the anti-Ashlee hysteria is a bunch of negative hype. Why do people listen to pop music so much if they hate it?

Sometimes you can't avoid it. You go into a store and that's all they play. One store in my hometown that I worked for plays "Oops! I Did It Again" at least twice a day. That's partly why I left for another job!

I'm signing it because Ashlee was the last straw; the record industry has completely purged rock and roll (well, except for Green Day) in favor of teen pop. As Spin wrote, we've gone back to the George Bush / Michael Jackson era that existed before Nirvana released Nevermind. We got to give rock 'n' roll back to the people!!

You hear that sort of thing in a lot of places. That's not my milieu. Rock and roll is good-time music. I love rock. So did my parents.

OMG, before I tolerate any form of teen pop, I gotta ask myself, am I defending EYE CANDY?
Am I going to let the music industry keep people from actually playing an instrument with a passion, am I going to let guitars rot on racks at music stores?? TIME FOR REVOLUTION, BABY!!!!! POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!!

I don't believe Ashlee Simpson has listened to an Iron Maiden album to save her life.

The only place for teenpop chick singers is worshipping lustfully at the feet of your metal guitar gods as they pull off a blazing solo!!! SMELL THE GLOVE, BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
