American Idol's format
Does anyone else think there should be a change in the format of the show.
Here's what I had in mind: They totally get rid of the semi-finals rounds because they're pointless and think of a faster way to pick people. Straight to the finals. The judges pick the bottom two people of the night, performance wise. People will only be able to vote for either of those two people to stay. The next week (instead of the next day) the votes will be in and one of the two people leaves (This will be in the same episode as the performances combining both days). This way voting will somewhat be based on talent. Also, the two people get to choose their songs (do they anyway?). Also, get rid of Ryan Seacrest... permanently. And have them sing ALL of their song, instead of 25 seconds of it. |
