Default What is the best pre-paid cellular company with no contracts?

My contract with my current provider is up in February and I want to get rid of them because they suck. I'm looking for a cellular company that doesn't have any 2-yr contract b.s.; that you can pre-pay your airtime; and that is trustworthy. I'm tired of always having to go over my incomprehensible bill every month with a fine-tooth comb, checking to see if they are over-charging me... again.
Any recommendations?

I have Virgin Mobile and I am very pleased with the service. They also provide cool features like ringtones and games etc, just like you would get with a phone under contract.

I use Tracfone pre-paid cards. Not a problem; ever!

I have Tracfone too and it's really easy. Buy the cards almost anywhere (Target, Wal-Mart, etc.), add the minutes online. They tell you you have to add minutes every 60 days to keep active, but if you add within that 60 days, those extra days carry over. I just added some more Monday, and now I have until April, so 3 months.

Boost Mobile is pretty good, a few of my friends have it. You can bleep(two way) Nextel users too.

Thanks for your replies!
I've been considering Tracfone because I always see it at Walmart here. I haven't seen Virgin Mobile around here but it looks interesting.

Definitely not Verizon. I HATE THEM. They're a ripoff.
