Does anybody have friends that are cheap? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Me and my homeboy went hanging out Saturday night. We played pool, went to a bar and just kickin' it. He didn't pay his half on the pool game, didn't pull his weight on buying drinks. He always claim "I'll pay next time."
This isn't the first time he did this. I'm always spending. He is cheap and a moocher. He makes more money than I do. He is my friend, but he's got to start coming out of his pocket. Anyone ever went through this?

I forgot to add this, he lives with his sister in an arpartment, has no car, no kids, doesn't have the best clothes, and still doesn't like to spend. I don't know what he does with his money.

well that seems like someone who's cheap, but i have a few friends who can't necessarly afford things at times. i'm not a dick about it though, i realize some people aren't as fortunate as i am when it comes to not having to worry about money so i help them out once and a while.

I've got a couple of cheap relatives, on my husband's side, that drive me nuts. They just take and take and never reciprocate. Dinner's always on us, and it gets old real fast. If someone doesn't have it, I'm more than happy to pick up the tab, but when they're just cheap, it irks me.

Amanda is the cheapest person I know. Im cheap now when it comes to ME like shopping- Ive learned to stop a lot of impulse buying, but Ill help out any of my friends and when it comes to splitting bills Im not picky.

However, whenever me and Amanda go out to eat, shell take the bill and figure out who owes what to the EXACT PENNY. I swear to God. Its so annoying. Shell use her calculator and everything. Just split the bill in half or get separate bills.
