I heard Jerry Stiller wanted the show moved to NY, if that is what you are talking about.

It would be great if they could tape in New York. There is actually a huge studio complex in Astoria, Queens i believe. It would be awesome to see them use actual NYC locations.

I'm looking at acting to schools to be an actress and the guy I met with yesterday at H&B Studios told me KOQ is actually filmed in California.I was surprised cause in the show all the places like Queens Center,Their neighborhood,Coopers etecetra look like the exact places in Queens the place where the world Fair was years ago that I have seen alot looks exactly like the one in the show.I say great set that's for sure.Mel

Default KOQ in Brooklyn

What I meant was that the characters move from Queens to Brooklyn in the teleplay of the show. As for actually taping the series in New York that would be cool too because it would give people in the New York Area the abilitiy to score tickets to watch the show being taped. These shows are usually taped in front of a live audience. But I just wondered if anyone remembered that rumor being circulated that the concept of the show was going to be changed from Queens based to Brooklyn based. I think i read about it in the NY post or Daily news about 15 months ago or so.
