Talking The worst episodes

The worst episodes are the ones where Cliff's parents come and everyone just sits around talking about the most boring stuff for 30 minutes! It's like we're stuck in our own families who tell "the good ol' days" stories!!! Who wants to watch this on TV?

Another stupid episode is Cliff's dream where monsters come for no reason...it's soooo boring and beavus!

Talking

I agree w/ ya! I love this show! And I think it only got better over the years. The best episodes are the one about any of the kids. They were hilarious!!!!

i agree with you. those kind of episodes were very dumb. one of those episodes was when theo and cockroach had to do something about shakespeare and cliff's father brought over some friends of his. and then they all start reading a story rudy wrote. the men were making funny sounds while reading it. it was really stupid and unfunny. but other than that, it is a real good show.

I agree. It could get pretty boring when the grandparents were on. But they added a sense of family history to the show. I never liked the episodes when they would have famous people guest star. Also when the family's friends visited it was often boring. Except for Ingalls, the short bald guy. He was funny. And the one when they played Pinocle (I don't know how to spell it) with the teacher, Cliff's dad and that other man. That one was funny too.

Default Worst Episodes

In regard to this thread. I agree, any episodes with the grandparents as the main theme...SUCKED! They were very boring and unfunny. I also hate the ones with the jazz musicians

Hey, I loved the Muppet episode, Ishqs! I haven't seen it since it first aired, though ('89 or so) and am dying to see it again. The same thing goes for Cliff's other dream where all the men are pregnant.

As for the worst episodes - anything that centered on Pam and her friends. She was the worst addition to the show. I never caught these episodes until they were in syndication, though, as Thursdays at 8 during The Cosby Show's final two seasons were Simpsons time!

The jazz musician episodes were pretty lame, too. I'm reminded of a Simpsons episode where Bleeding Gums Murphy reminisced about guest starring on The Cosby Show.

Cliff: Hey, kids! Meet Grandpa Murphy!

Rudy: But we have three grandpas already.

Cliff: This one's a great jazz musician.

Rudy: Aw, they all are.

Cliff: Oh, oh, you see, the kids, they listen to the rap music, which gives them the brain damage. With their hippin' and the hoppin' and the bippin' and the boppin', so they don't know what the jazz is all about. You see, jazz is like a Jell-O Pudding Pop. No, actually, it's more like Kodak film. No, actually jazz is like the New Coke--it'll be around forever. Heh heh heh.

When Rudy writes a fairy tale and reads it to cliff and clair and they all fall asleep and dream the story.. that episode was pretty lame and my least favorite by far... I also didn't like the Dance Mania story, or the muppet episode, or pam episodes(yuck!)

I'll skip:

The one where Claire goes to a contest with her squash and rudy gets lost.

The episode where Theo goes to see his friend in the hospital.

I don't like any of the few episodes where a jaz musician is focused on. Very annoying for me.

And of course, ANY Pam episode. I'll just turn the tube off when I come across it, just like I did ten years ago when it first aired!

The dream ones, and the one where Theo and Cockroach visit their teacher that just had her baby....I guess Im the only one that actually LIKES the Pam episodes.
