Original Ginger- Kit Smythe - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Celine, you said in the Old Ginger-Bunny vs. New Ginger-Mary Ann thread that the original Ginger (Kit Smythe) was too mean to Gilligan. I never saw the pilot epsidoe so could you go into some detail about how she was mean to him. If you can, that would be great. Thanks.

The original Ginger hold Gilligan resposable of the shipwreck.When Gilligan came to help the girls watch the clothes,he received a crual:I whish you get lost with a mean look.I don't think we would like that attitude.The Skipper always for keeping the group together and that everyone get along with each other.But,the originale Mary Ann(Bunny) was in love with Gilligan,that would been a totaly different show:the girl who hates him and the girl who loves him.The originale professor was a bad choice,he looked like more Rock Hudson more than a high school teacher.

Thanks. Kit Smythe is nothing like that though. I saw her on the E! True Hollywood Story. She seems like a very sweet lady.

I have nothing agains Kit Smythe.She's a very nice lady.I think she married to Denis Miller(Duke William,Tongo) in the real life.I'm saying that Ginger(her character) being mean to Gilligan wouldn't win her a popularity contest.

I've never seen th pilot so I wouldn't know.....

Bunny was like a Chrissy Snow's character,pretty but,a little bit dump.She was always going after Gilligan,took of him,was sweet to him.If they kept her,I think something would happen between them.They would made a very funny couple.But,I like Mary Ann better anyway.
