When season 2 came, she no longer believed in her earthy values and didnt talk about earth things anymore. She wanted to be popular. So she changes everything she likes just to be popular? I think thats kinda sad, but oh well.

Im sure it is just related to different writers in season 2. Their are several strange things like that over the course of all seven seasons.

I don't think she changed everything to be popular, she just grew out of her "weirdness" Like Michael Jacobs said on the commentary for "Hair Today, Goon Tomorrow" that was on the Season 1 DVD, the moment Topanga got her hair fixed after she cut it to prove her point to Cory, is when she was no longer weird.

I mean really, would we have wanted her weirdness to last 7 seasons? That would have been a bit boring IMO.

Yeah, I agree, it would have gotten pretty old if she stayed like that for 7 seasons. But it is kind of strange how she just changed so fast. I mean when Eric went from normal to ******** it was more of a gradual thing.

Eric never was ********, IMO he got smarter, I mean for someone to come up with the quote "Lose One Friend, Lose All Friends, Lose Yourself" is pretty smart in my book

Yeah I guess he had his moments. But I liked him alot better the 1st few seasons when he was just a regular teenage boy, only caring about girls and popularity.

I loved Eric from episode 1 to the final episode. I loved him more when he got sillier. Eric has a heart of gold, that's why I love him so much
