name of the jazz singer on the show
on one of the cosby episodes, the whole family got together and lip sang a song for the the grandparents for their 49th annv. Theo came walking down the stairs, rudy was pretending to scream BABY! i was wondering if anyone knows the name of that song and who actually sings it?

The name of the song is Night is the Right time of Day. Atleast along those lines.
 I think Stevie Wonder sanged that song I think, I am not sure. It was a pretty though though.

Ray Charles.
Stevie Wonder did guest star on that show in the 2nd season. But for some reason I keep thinking it was him that sang that song.
