Years ago, I was working at 7-11, and this guy came in and asked where the condominiums were. I asked "Excuse me?" and he asked again, "Where are the condominiums?". I told him I didn't know what he was talking about. He said something like what you wear during sex, and I said "I think you mean 'condoms'."

Maybe not exactly the same as what you posted but reading the words and definitions reminded me of that.
