We are in the process of producing the 75th anniversary of NBC. Could you or your fans recomend between 5 to 10 top episodes of that truly define the series or suggest a few "must include" moments. I would also like to know where I could get copies of these shows to screen.
Thank you for your help. Greg Vines, Supervising Producer Andrew Solt Productions 9121 Sunset Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90069 |

This is just a personal favorite of mine. The show where Rudy is telling the her story. About the dragon named Bud, etc.
When Cliff tries to sneak food so Claire won't find out. Those are good moments. And whenever he eats a Hoggie. (spelling?) ------------------ I'm Krijoyen, the goddess of laziness. Visit my webpage or drop me a line. http://www.angelfire.com/wi2/cottonclouds misstress_of_mystery@hotmail.com |

A Shirt Story & Theo And Cockroach are the two that stick out as classic episodes that never grow old.
While I liked season 6 (that season had me rehooked on the show and watching every week again), seasons 3-5, 7-8 did nothing for me. I honestly didn't even see any season 8 episodes except for the finale until years later on syndication and TBS. I wonder how far the show would've regressed if it ran another year or two. |

When Sandra and Elvin come home from their honeymoon saying that they don't want to go back to school; they'd rather work at a wilderness store. Or when Denise decides that she is not going back to Hillman, and on that same day Theo comes home with all of his luggage, because he forgot to mail in his application for a dormroom. Those moments define it, because Cliff was always worried that his kids would never leave his house. Also, he was often having conversions with his kids that were so funny, because they highlighted the immaturity of his kids at the age that they were and made the situations seem so hilarious. Like when Denise tries to convince of her parents that she should be able to spend all of her savings on a second hand car. Or when she comes home from Hillman and says that she's having trouble in her classes because she hardly has time to study. Then she says she hardly has time to go the her club meeting and the club is "Students for Social Peace through Poetry." Those kinds of thing are what makes the show a classic. The parents were always astounded at the things their kids did.

The Raggae episode is also hilarious. Cliff is trying to find some peace and quiet, but his kids are making noises in every room. Especially Denise and her boyfriend listening to the Raggae music.
