New Primetime Lineup on PRIME TV in Canada
PRIME kicks off the New Year with a lineup of new and returning shows. Starting January 17, viewers can watch all their favourite shows including Adam-12, Dragnet, The A-Team, The Incredible Hulk, The Apprentice and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Also scheduled are back-to-back movies on Friday nights. Monday, January 17 Adam-12 Follow the lives of two Los Angeles police officers, veteran Pete Malloy (Martin Milner) and his rookie partner Jim Reed (Kent McCord), as they patrol the streets of Southern California. Airs Mondays at 10 & 10:30 pm. Tuesday, January 18 Dragnet Detective Sgt. Joe Friday (Jack Webb) and his partner Officer Bill Gannon (Harry Morgan) tackle police cases ranging from fraud, drug dealing and kidnapping to robbery, murder and juvenile crimes throughout the city of Los Angeles. Airs Tuesdays at 10 & 10:30 pm. Wednesday, January 19 The Incredible Hulk Research scientist Dr. David Banner (Bill Bixby) transforms and morphs into the Incredible Hulk when he is angered or distressed. Traveling around the country in search of a cure, he is pursued by investigative reporter Jack McGee (Jack Colvin), who suspects the Hulk of murder and is determined to discover the creature's true identity. Airs Wednesdays at 10 pm. Thursday, January 20 The A-Team Four Vietnam vets, framed for a crime they didn't commit, help the innocent while on the run from the military. Lt. Col. John (Hannibal) Smith (George Peppard), is the leader of the band of fugitives. The series co-stars Tim Dunigan in the original pilot, Dirk Benedict thereafter, Mr. T and Dwight Schultz. Airs Thursdays at 10 pm. Friday, January 21 PRIME Friday Night Movies PRIME presents a collection of back-to-back movies every Friday night. Tonight: Smokey and the Bandit (1977, comedy) starring Burt Reynolds, Sally Field and Jackie Gleason. Smokey and the Bandit 2 (1980, comedy) starring Burt Reynolds, Sally Field and Jackie Gleason. Airs Fridays at 7 & 9 pm. Sunday, January 23 The Apprentice III Created by Mark Burnett, the ratings hit is back for a third season. The ultimate job interview tests the survival techniques of 18 competitors in New York City's corporate jungle as the Book Smarts team and the Street Smarts team vie for the chance to become an apprentice to business tycoon Donald Trump. Airs Sundays at 8 pm. Queer Eye for the Straight Guy The hit makeover series features five fabulous gay men who work their fashion, food, interior design and grooming savvy on a straight guy whose friends or loved ones believe he is in need of a lifestyle change. The unsuspecting target is outfitted in new clothes, gets his home renovated and receives tips on other aspects of living well. The experts are Carson Kressley as Fashion Savant, Kyan Douglas as Grooming Guru, Ted Allen as Food & Wine Connoisseur, Jai Rodriguez as Culture Vulture, and Thom Filicia as Design Doctor. Airs Sundays at 9 pm. Going the Distance This documentary series examines the unconventional love of various couples in long-distance relationships. The series follows the diverse lives of 13 couples as they juggle commitment, sex, money, children and trust with travel, airport delays, late night phone calls, intense weekends and high expectations. The Incredible Hulk is showing back up in those SciFi Channel marathons, which kicks some serious ass. But damn! I'm moving to Canada.
