Question This is not right

This show should be on Nick-at-Nite. It's classic TV! And it should stay on TBS, too! TBS should also bring on Cosby, which is not as good but should be seen again.

No,I have to disagree. Don't get me wrong, I love the show too and 100% agree with you that it is classic TV, but I think the show is a little young for Nick At Nite TV. The last seasons still look up to date. I don't think Nick At Nite will be picking up the show quite yet. Due to the fact that it is still quite popular in syndication. TBS,WGN and WPIX are three supersations that are still airing the show(local TV. stations included).

The good news is that "Cosby" is airing on TBS weekdays at 11:35am after Mama's Family. The only thing is that it kind of puts a damper on the back to back episodes of Mama's Family. But hopefully this take care of your request about Cosby. I also agree about the Cosby Show, I would just wait another 5 years at least, by then the show will have been over 20 years old and ready for the Nick At Nite schedule. Who knows? Maybe NAN is bidding for the rights for the Cosby Show now. What do you think about Roseanne coming to NAN?

I think it is terrible that Roseanne is coming to Nick at Nite, but thank god it's not until 2003! It will be on Oxygen and Nick at Nite at the same time!
Cosby Show should come to Nick at Nite soon, maybe after 2005, I love that show!
Also these WB shows like Full House, Fresh Prince, Cooper, etc are starting in 2003 or 2004 at 8:30...

What channel is Full House, Cooper, etc. going to be on starting in 2003? If Nick-at-Nite is putting Roseanne on before the Cosby Show, something's wrong! The Cosby Show started in 1984 while Roseanne started in 1988. I respect your opinion about the Cosby Show. We'll just have to sit back and wait, I guess.

Take care!

Hold up. Is is true that Roseanne is coming to NAN? I was just asking in general about the show. I don't think that it should come to NAN. It will not help preserve the almost clean image that NAN has kept over the years. I don't believe it is, I just wanted to get another opinion. I hope no one got the impression that I said that it was coming to NAN. That would be awful if it did.

I heard about Roseanne coming on NAN in 2002 about a year ago. I couldn't believe it either but it probably will happen. Unless they change their minds, looks like Roseanne is coming to Nick-at-Nite sooner than later. Sorry.

There was a big news article on Roseanne coming to Nick at Nite during nights and on Oxygen in the daytime starting in 2003. Right now TBS has the rights to it.
But in 2003 it will be on N@N and Oxygen.
TBS has rights to The Cosby Show until 2004, maybe Nick at Nite will pick it up after that. And yes these WB shows will be coming to Nick at Nite OR Nickelodeon, shows like Full House and Fresh Prince.

Upcoming on N@N:
October 15th: Three's Company
September 2001: Family Ties
TBA (probably Oct 2001): Cheers
2003: Roseanne
2003/2004: WB shows come at 8:30 on N@N and earlier on Nickelodeon.

Those are the announced ones, there could be more coming, like Diff'rent Strokes was rumored to come this January or June...

Well, if this is all true, NAN is really changing and we have to face it. It seems like NAN will be putting shows that are still popular in today's time on their schedule and these shows have not been off the airwaves that long. I know about Family Ties. At first I thought it was a little sudden, but when the show hits NAN it will almost have been 20 years since the show premiered on NBC. Other Shows like Full House, Fresh Prince, and Roseanne need to wait until the end of then decade. Let the show age a little, like fine wine, or put these shows on TV Land. Head of the Class needs to make its move if all these other shows are coming. You know what? They need to aquire the rights to "Archie Bunkers Place" That show was really the last 4 season of All in the family only with a different cast. It was not as good as All in the Family, but people should still get the chance to see it. It was OK the first season with Edith, but it was sad when Edith died of a stroke. Anyway, The Cosby Show will be good material for NAN about 5 years from now.

Something's wrong!! It Should Be Cosby Show coming in 2004, Roseanne 2008, Full House 2007, Family Matters(which when TBS lets them
go in 2002 or 3 )then Nick at Nite shouldn't get them until about 2010 I don't understand why Roseanne is coming to N@N in 2003 why so early? They all should wait until 2005 or later. But I DON'T CARE AS LONG AS I CAN STILL WATCH THESE SITCOMS I WANT TO WATCH!!!
so they should go at laeat until it premiered 15 to 20 years ago. Because that is what they did with Jeffersons, and All in the Family They should also pick up Archie Bunker's Place.

"should stay"? Sorry if I'm misinterpretting you here but is TBS considering getting rid of the Cosby Show?! I haven't finished recording all 201 episodes yet!
(oh yeah, UPN shows The Cosby Show too)

Cosby is *way* too new to go onto TBS. TBS isn't known for showing reruns less than a year old.

Question

No, the Cosby Show isn't leaving anytime soon I don't think. I happen to like Cosby on in the mornings. I thinks it fits in well and *should* stay on for a while. America can't get enough Bill Cosby in my opinion! And either can TBS!

Where did you find all this stuff about Roseanne coming to N@N in 2002 and is Oxygen on basic cable because I don't think I have that channel. How do you find out when TBS loses rights to certain shows. If Roseanne comes to N@N in 2003 then N@N would begin to show some vulgar shows because most shows now on N@N are G OR PG and really aren't that bad but I guess we are going to have to livce with it By the way, Do you know when TBS loses Family Matters and if it comes to N@N.

As far as N@N goes, I don't think it matters whether a show has been off for 20 years or 5 years. N@N has been showing The Wonder Years since 1997 or 98. That show started in 1988 and ended in 1993, so it was only off for 4 or 5 years when N@N picked it up.

The Wonders Years. I will make an exception with this due to the fact that the shows took place in the 60's and the 70's. It fits right in. Roseanne needs to wait till the end of the decade. The Cosby Show nds to wait at least till after 2005.
