why on earth do you find the need to put "final season" in your posts about the show?

do you have empirical proof that this is the last season?

please give it a rest!

it really reminds me of a quote from ossie davis:

those who know, don't say
those who don't say, KNOW

No, he does not have proof. He just likes to convince himself that it's the last seasons of Will & Grace, That 70s Show and King of the Hill despite, in the case of the last two shows, evidence to the contrary.

It is very likely that it'll be W&G's last season, but until an official statement comes up, posting "RIP W&G 1998-2005 COMING TO LIFETIME ALSO T7S ENDING IN 2005 OMG" in every message is pointless and just gets irritating.

You have no idea how many of us here have asked JD that same question. After a while, he/she must have noticed how annoyed we all are were with the constant "WILL & GRACE IS ENDING" that kept being posted so just to be even more annoying, he/she decided to put it as part of their sig. (R.I.P. W&G 1998-2005)

JD is like that annoying little kid on the playground when you were in grade school whose idea of fun was bugging as many kids around as possible. You would have better luck getting cooperation from a rock.

He, she, it just does it because he knows it ticks us off. He just has way too much time on his hands.

Given the doom and gloom from JD, I honestly am not sure who would be more surprised should Will & Grace return for another season: the forums as a whole, after being bombarded with negativity for so long, or JD, whose entire being seems focused on the show coming to an end.

Regardless, I myself find it easier to simple wait and see. If the show comes back it comes back, if it ends it ends.

I can't stand him either. JD is like hot coal in which you walk with your bare feet on and boy does that nick a cut on the bag!

Oh my God, he finally stopped slapping "final season" in his talkback threads. Is hell freezing over?

Oh wait, they're NASHMAN's.

Got my hopes up for a bit.

Don't expect miracles like THAT, slackermonkey. JD's final words will probably be "Rest in Peace, Will & Grace." If not, the words can always be printed on his/her tombstone.

It isn't the final season JD. This is the season finale but not the final season! Will & Grace is renewed!

3/17/05

NBC Renews Four Shows, WIll & Grace Looks To Be Renewed

Taken from The Futon Critic today, four of NBC's shows have officially been renewed, but nothing official is out on the rest of the lineup. The shows renewed for 2005-2006 are The West Wing, Crossing Jordan, Joey, and ER which has actually been renewed for TWO years.

On top of this, it now looks as though Will & Grace has been renewed for an 8th season! But official word has not yet been released by either Warner Bros or NBC. This news comes to us from Zap2it.com, who says that shows such as W&G, Scrubs, Medium, and all three Law & Order's have been extended to one extra season. The official word on ALL NBC programming will be released in May.

EDITORS NOTE: Nothing, nothing, and again I say NOTHING has been signed, no word has come from either company, and none of the staff is talking. It shows promise, but there is nothing else besides this article to confirm the show is back. When we get official word, we will let you know.

NBC Renews Four, Including 'Vegas,' 'Joey'
(Thursday, March 17 04:07 PM)
LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) NBC's final schedule for the 2005-06 season won't be announced until May, but the network got a head-start on Thursday (March 17), renewing "Crossing Jordan," "Las Vegas" and the freshman comedy "Joey" for another year. In addition, NBC confirmed the rumored renewal of "West Wing" and the two-year extension for "ER," which will keep the medical drama on the air through at least the 2007-08 season.
"The continuing quality and popularity of these series make them the mainstays of our year-to-year schedules," says NBC Entertainment President Kevin Reilly. "Coupled with our innovative current development plans, we feel we have the right mix of returning and fresh, new breakout hits for a promising 2005-06 schedule."

Facing the tough challenge of following in the footsteps of "Friends," "Joey" has struggled at times this season, averaging 11.1 million viewers. Still, NBC can boast that it's the season's top new comedy among adults 18-49 and in total viewers. Of the NBC renewals, "Joey" was probably the one whose future was in the most doubt.

Even after weathering a tough fall opposite "Monday Night Football," "Las Vegas" has averaged 11.7 million viewers per week in its second season. Those numbers are almost identical to the figures the show delivered last year.
Although NBC's Sunday performance has been spotty this season due to weaknesses between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., "Crossing Jordan" has provided a strong anchor, averaging 12.1 million viewers despite strong competition from ABC's "Boston Legal."

Two of the most decorated dramas in the history of the medium, "The West Wing" and "ER" are averaging 11.4 and 16.5 million viewers respectively.

Thursday's announcement brings a good deal of clarity to NBC's schedule with two months to go before its official upfront presentation. In addition to today's renewals, a number of shows -- including "Scrubs," "Will & Grace," freshman drama "Medium" and the first three "Law & Order" offerings -- had already been picked up for next season. "American Dreams" and "Committed" appear to be dead in the water and the fate of Friday dramas "Third Watch" and "Medical Investigation" is decidedly cloudy and probably won't be determined until after NBC executives have had the opportunity to look over the network's pilot haul.

It does really annoy me that he does put last season. But we shouldn't really pick on this guy/girl. This may be an 11 year old or something.
