TV Land should divide and become 2 channels. One that shows classic commericals from the early days of television up until the mid to late 70's, as well as shows from these times, and one channel "TV Land 2" that shows Late 70's to early 90's commericals and shows from those years.
We really need more 70's to 90's sitcoms back on reruns. At least we'll know something good is on if we are fans of shows from these years. TV LAND Doesn't have anything I guess from those years. Does anyone think TV Land has thought about this before or told us they are thinking of adding another channel or 2? (I know a lot of people have brought this up already). |

Awesome idea!
I would love it if they divided into two channels. I'd be in TV heaven.

They have considered that idea, I believe. Right now it is not an option. Most people would not get TV Land 2 anyway. It would probably only be on digital, so it would not reach as many homes.

In this digital cable world there SHOULD be more TV Land channels.....Viacom /MTV networks has a whole suite of exclusive digital cable channels but ignores TV Land expansion......In a perfect world we would have TV Land 50's, TV Land 60's & TV Land 70's.....breaking it up by decade would give each network its own identity and feel...but I'm afraid the folks at viacom are too cheap to acquire enough programming, they only poor good money after bad into original productions, which give the network publicity and better ratings.....but lets face it most TV Land originals are bearly watchable except for the annual TV Land awards and documentaries.
